If your boyfriend is making the payments each month on your cell phone, then when the two of you get into a fight, he has every right to take the phone back if he thinks your relationship has come to an end....
But if you are making the payments each month and all he did was buy the phone for you as a gift, then the phone is yours and he can't take it back from you... tell him to grow up...

This reminds me of my friend's relationship with her ex. He gave her a necklace for her birthday, a week later they got into an argument and he took it back. He proposed to her a few months later, they got into an argument, and he took the ring back.
A gift is a gift. It's very immature of him to take it back every time he becomes upset. I think you need to evaluate your relationship. Sounds like you can do much better.

Yes, it was a gift. The question is, who is paying for your calls? He really should have bought you something that's not going to cost money everytime you use it.
Having said that, he's wrong in taking things back that he has given you, no matter what it is.

It depends on who is paying the bill and why he is mad at you.
If nothing else, you can keep the phone, but he can disconnect service if it is in his name. Why would you want such a childish boyfriend? Let him have his phone and find another boyfriend.

people act stupid when they get mad. I do that too but i know I look stupid so there, he's stupid for taking your cellphone. act like you dont care and that'll make him feel bad.
