I have the perfect product that I've used for years and know dozens of other people that use it. It is a product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a little purple cube with an incredible activated carbon filter inside that is really, really, great. It works so much better than baking soda and all those sprays and fragrances that just cover up smells and doesn't get rid of them. Also, alot of sprays have warning statements about being eye irritants and other cautions. The carbon literally absorbs and eliminates the odors and works for a long time. Just place some around the house and trouble areas. Clip one onto cat litter box.. I use this product everywhere including car, storage, closets, my fridge and also under sinks, near trash and have friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good. I really recommend it. You can buy it in kitchen gadget sections in stores like walmart and linens and things. I also think camping world sells it. Definitely worth trying.

For carpets, I like to use the no-vacuum foam stuff you spray on the rug. Really gets rid of odors. For "every day" odors, try looking at the pet store. Arm & Hammer makes a really good one, but I've only been able to find it at the pet store. Really gets rid of odors for hours.

I use Febreeze..seems to work better than most, last longer, and doesn't just hide the smell. Have tried a lot of diff sprays but this one seems to work the best.

Oust is good. Also consider Trapp candles - they are kind of expensive but way better than any other kinds. Get a candle warmer instead of burning the candle - it will last longer.
