How on EARTH do spammers think subject lines like these are going to attract me (or anyone) into opening a piece of email? Even if we DIDN'T have spam filters now that dump garbage like this into our spam/bulk mail folders, would anyone actually read an email with such an inane, senseless title? It screams "spam!" from a mile away. *chuckle*

I guess I don't understand why spammers use "random word generator" programs, or whatever they're called, to come up with subject lines for the junk they send out. If they truly want me to read it, they should at least TRY to fool me into thinking it's real and opening it, by using a REAL title! Don't you think? I guess this just shows the desperate stupidity of spammers. :( Definitely some of the ugliest parasites in today's society.

Fortunately for spammers, there are a lot of people without spam filters, and most of those people are stupid.

They will click on stuff that they have no idea who sent it, and then click links or download stuff attached to those e-mails without having any idea what it is.

The fact that the subject lines don't make any sense doesn't stop them - the spammers bank on at least one word in the subject catching the users eye - especially anything having to do with pr0n or 'sexy teens'. I'll bet they sit around and laugh at how many responses they can elicit through the use of choice words or phrases.

The random phrase generator saves them time though - and different idiots will respond to different idiotic subject lines.

If it weren't for idiots who continue to click on their e-mails, there wouldn't be any spammers.

They do that because many filter search the Subject and Body for certain words to allow through the spam filter.

Spamming send out thousands of emails at a time, and they hope one of the random words will mark it as a good email to the spam filtering software.

They are using machines that send e-mail like that.

What get me is that they don't care how much energy they wasted as long as they send a free piece of electronic mail to the spam victim list.

because filters catch on to subject lines. so after being flagged as spam the subject line has to change to defeat the spam filters. so they generate random subject titles to get around this. but like u said, it *reads as red flag for spam*... LOL, i dunno why they even try anymore,

just hit SPAM when u see them come accrous (yahoo! mail). Everyone that hits SPAM on their email helps the entire communty to flag them...

a creative subject line is harder to block as spam. Also sometimes the subject line is convincing.

They do it so that you won't set up a filter that can fetch a *predictable* title

Don't worry about it, if you don't click them anyways.
