Because 'change' involves the way you think as well as your environment. If you're always stressed out about something then you'll never be content while if you shrug off a lot of annoyances then the world is your veritable oyster and you, my dear, are the pearl.

You are changing - you just don't realize it.
Right now, you are currently in the process of dying. Millions of cells in your body are dying and being born every day in your body, but the gradual movement is towards death. With every passing second, minute, hour, and day - you are closing in on the end of your life on this earth.
You have a voice. You have a mind. You have a heart. You have a body. You have a soul. That's what Life gave you - the key to your Life is in them, in you. What is it you want - Love? Dreams? Joy? Fun? Happiness? To Be Inspired? Money? All of this stuff, if you want these things to come in to your life, the chain reaction starts from inside you.
If you're bored or feel life is dull & monotonous - then you're depending too much on the outside world to provide you with stimulus. The Source of your Life is within You.

Sincerely I don't believe it, I think you have to learn observing around you. Today isn't yesterday, and tomorrow will be another day, a new day, never lived by anyone, and you are forced to be, or to live in the way that day will be. Some flowers grow up in your garden, in your vases, in your heart, and in the evening they die, and another ones are always ready to born. They are always the same flowers, but never the yesterday's ones. Wishes.
