Why does the United States have to be the one who takes care of every one but our own people? We have so many probloms here but yet we dont take the time to fix them. EXAMPLES :Kids starving on our own streets . Homeless people. Jobs, education,
medicine our elder people. And i dont mean how we hear in the news how are goverment is doing this and that. The fact is its a problom and what they are saying isnt fixing our probloms.
However we can send billions of dollars to these other countries to rebuild them and feed them after a war . And as a tax payer i would rather take care of the issuies here frist and then help these other countries.WORDS dont help us actions speak louder. And dont give me this crap about the defeict we have cause we always seem to have the money to help these other countries.

Why can't we take care of our own first. Look at the history of Washington. They want to take care of their own pockets. They do not care about Americans unless that Amercian can line their pocket. Why should they vote them self a pay cut or a little less in benefits to help an American child? I feel they should not get paid more than 10% more than the lowest paid full time employee in their state (40 hours) and with equal benefits. There is no profit in it for them. Which is also why they will never get rid of lobbist. Pharmacies, insurance copanies and oil comapany can attest to the fact that without all that financial changing they would not have the profit margins they enjoy today.
Take a look at trade agreements, where they do not import and export at the same rate, you can bet someones pocket got filled. One of our most recent and publicized discrimination is going on right now and our Congress lets it, due to the money changing hands. I speak of the gas prices. It is President Bush's special interest group. Our Congress needs to let some of the other world countries take care of the world for awhile so our Congress can PAY ATTENTION TO AMERICANS for a change. I feel we need to take care of Americans before we take care of those who come to our country, for whatever reason. President Bush wants to open the Mexico border and let them take our jobs at less pay. He encouraged American businesses to leave our country and give the jobs to other countries and 'We the people of the United States' through our government pay these businesses for this. I believe the Politicians need to start listening to real people and not just those few who line their pocket.

The idea is you don't want parts of the world to disintegrate into anarchy for our own protection. If we completely left Africa alone and nobody supplied aid, the governments would fall apart and the entire region might revert into militant groups and warlords. Then there would be a whole continent of terrorists organizations and militant fighting groups. So the US strategically aids countries and regions to help the people and the government that controls the people.

That is how Clinton dealt with N. Korea when he was president. He gave them just enough aid so they would listen to us.

I think I agree. I think that every single person in the world should look to this problem. There is more than enough money and resources to supply the whole world, probably many times over. People all over are hoarding their wealth and that means that there are those who die from lack of provision. If everyone in the world would follow Christ's teachings about taking care of your neighbors, we wouldn't have these problems. Too bad so many of us are selfish and just want to add more toys to our toybox. I include myself in that too. I have more toys than I should if I look around the world. Bill Gates and friends are doing a marvelous thing - giving so much to Africa. Will we all follow their example, in our own neighborhoods, our own city, our own country??
