If being gay is how you were born, how does the gay community deal with people who switch into and out of the gay lifestyle everyday?

For example Anne Heche and Ellen were the for front gay couple for the three years they were together. Then Anne broke it off for a relationship with a man claiming that her years with Ellen she was "insane" throughout their entire relationship.

How do gays determine who is a poser like Anne, and who was realy born that way? Is there a test you give to gay people?

Is hating judgmental people being judgmental of others? In other words, is it ok to judge others as long as they don't judge you?

The same way the straight community should deal with posers who say they are straight but are really gay....leave them alone...what difference does it make what someone else is!!

As long as you are comfortable with your choices, don't worry about others!!

I'm straight, but not narrow.

I hate people who are homophobic but hide behind attempts at trying to intellectually rationalize their hate!!

If you are going to hate, be like me...confront your hatred and state it forcefully!!

I HATE JUDGMENTAL PEOPLE!!

There will always be ugly breakups, gay or straight. There will also always be bisexuals and curious people of both sexes. There's no real "Gay Test" you can hand out at the door, asking people to fill in the approprite bubbles and turn back in by the bell....LOL. I suppose there are posers on both sides though. By posers I mean people who aren't in "it" for the long run, but more motivated by shock value and money. To those people, gays respond the same and straights', we have our kicks and eventually that person (the poser) winds up sad and lonely because that's what happens to betraying, sneaky, unfaithful, insensitive people. Or they marry some poor sap who cannot stand to be alone and they are both miserable in their interdependant web of ridiculousness. Get my drift?

I'm not gay, but I always recognize fake gays by their over-activism. If a guy claims to be gay, dresses weird rather than good, takes offense and argues for hours upon seeing anything remotely anti-gay (even if the one who made the remark isn't around--he'll get so worked up he keeps telling everyone about it), yet you never see him with a guy, and never even see him trying to meet guys, he is a closet heterosexual. True gays don't argue with people that don't like them or push their cause on people who don't care--they live their lives and merely demand decency, tolerance and respect. The posers try to make everyone else be gay, or at least love that they are gay.

Are you seriously FOR REAL ? I literally just shook my head after reading your question. I couldn't believe that people who think like you - really still exist.

Let it go, you will feel better for it. Your question is not only 'insane'; it's also poised without much thought or merit. If it's attention you seek, you can honestly do it in a better way than this. Take your pecker outta your hand, back away from the keyboard and just MOVE ALONG.

tsk tsk tsk
