i wouldn't call it DEAD. i mean, there are still some artists out there (that can't rap) like 50 cent and Akon. Even though all hip hop is derogitory to females and about bling bling. i mean it's still out there, but it's not good right now.

According to Nas it is. That album isn't what I expected of him. It's overly produced just all the rest of the crap from Atlanta, Oakland, Houston AND New York.

But I'd have to say No. It isn't dead. It's a alive and well.
