hi, i'm new to U.S and i was wondering if they air the world cup for football (soccer) on America television. Anyone know?

By the way, Does anyone know if ill be able to see the portuguese team play in america? If so what channel will it air on?

yes, they do. abc does in english, but they only do some on the weekends. espn/2 does most of the games. all of the games are aired in spanish through univision, telefutura, and galavision. which are all sister stations. in l.a. i have even seen some on korean programming

i think they probably will do and definately if the u.s national side qualifys, however you will have to wait a while to watch it as the next one isnt untill 2010.
