I've been invited 4 different times now and was wondering if its really that common a practice. By the way, I'm a male!

Yeah I have...and more...
...more common for a mixed couple to desire a female than a male, but not that odd...and of course 2 females may desire a male playmate.
If you plan on doing it, make sure it's with people you don't know well. It can really mess up a friendship, because couples often think they can handle adding a playmate but find jealousy and insecurities appear afterward...especially if the playmate was a friend. It takes a VERY secure relationship to successfully add outside bedroom buddies.

My wife and I do it and it really has helped take our sex life to the next level. I agree that close friends should not, we only do it with people we kinda know. It's a really great time and as long as all the rules are followed can be enjoyed by everyone. Just make sure you all are on the same page and no suprises.

YES, many times...just let me say, if your a married male, and you want to include your wife in on this threesome, you better be prepared, (and so should she), for the consequences of your actions...she may injoy it, while you don't..and she might get jealous if you're the one enjoying it, and she's not. Talk it over very well with all involved. The second time it happened for me, the guy later shot himself, because his wife was so jealous, they got into a huge fight!

It sounds to me like you need to find some different people to hang around with! The ones you're around now, are not your "normal" groups of people.

Wasn't "invited" it just sorta happened. A little weird afterward. I don't see them any longer. Put a strange strain on the friendship........

More common than you'd think. My wife and I have done it both with women and another man. Well she did it with another man....you get the picture.
People will say "don't do it, it messes up the relationship". That's crap. We've been married ten years and we're fine.

Same here. Mine was another guy and a girl. I did not go. I would consider 2 girls a better deal.
