Does any one think the only reason everyone is raven about what a great job she did is because she is gay? People are worried about the back lash they will get?

I really dislike Ellen most of the time, which has nothing to do with her sexual orientation. However, I thought she was fantastic as well as entertaining at the Academy Awards last night. It has absoutely nothing to do with the fact that she's gay.

I think Ellen did a great job. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that she's gay...I'm hoping that we've gotten over that by now. She's just seems like a genuinely pleasant person and proved that she was just what that otherwise boring awards show needed. If anything they need to be second guessing themselves about awarding Halle Berry for best actress and that stupid "It's hard out here for a pimp" the oscar...what the !*@* were they thinking?

Ellen is talented and it's what's inside that makes a person. We are all different. If she chooses to be gay, that's her life and we shouldn't take it out on her. I believe Ellen a great job on the Oscars.

I think Ellen is just a great entertainer and a very well spoken person, she is easy to listen to and funny. I dont think that it has anything to do with her sexuality. When you find someone who can keep everyones attention and get a few laugh now and then its a good thing!

While she is entertaining, i must say, the fact that shes a lesbo totally makes ppl give biased opinions, cause if they bash her, ppl will automatically think they are homophobes, i dont think ellens as great as everyone says she is, its totally cause shes gay
