I went to a hockey game this weekend, whenever there was a break in the action, a guy working on the ice would move the goal and suck out what I have to assume is water but then they had a bottle of some other type of liquid that they would shoot back in the hole when they were done removing the offending liquid...What is that liquid that he shot back into the hole after removing the water????

A very mild anti-freeze.

If you allow the water to stay in the hole, it freezes and makes the net stick to the ice. This is bad because it defeats the breakaway feature of the pegs used to hold the net in place.

Also, the net was allowed to freeze in place, it would break up the ice when it was removed at the end of the period.

Philadelphia Flyers a million. Philadelphia Spectrum. i don't be responsive to if this is because of the fact this is the homestead that Lindros outfitted or because of the fact the Flyers gained their cups in the old barn (i be responsive to how earlier that became into!) however the Wachovia center would not have the comparable sense or intensity that the Spectrum does. 2. i do no longer undergo in strategies the biggest blowout I watched became into yet I as quickly as lost a recreation in college 22-0. 3. continuously...No. The Edmonton Oilers had a dynasty a number of years returned the place the flexibility of their team became into their offense. that they had a stable protection to pass alongside with it, however the middle ingredient became into their potential to place the p.c.. in the internet. 4. I easily have seen a number of, uncertain what share. 5. Mites on Ice. this is the only ingredient i will continuously wait in the path of the intermission for. EDIT: Erica, curiously you have David D and that i right into a ordinary. we are the sole 2 so some distance who lined our team in the 1st line of the question even however you probably did no longer ask for it in this one! EDIT 2: i've got self assurance in case you have been to strike a chord, the two one in all our mouths could start to salivate besides. we are hockey followers, what do you assume?
