I KNOW JAMES..REALLY? THAT DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE JAMES. ARE YOU SURE THAT IT'S HIM?

James Hetfield sang all of their songs. he changes his facial hair style quite frequently, so it's understandable to get confused. Just look at the back of the LOAD cover. It doesn't look like him at all. the rest of the band is:
Lead guitar- Kirk Hammett
Bass- Rob Trujillo
Drums- Lars Ulrich

James Hetfield.
He sings all of their songs and plays rhythm guitar. Some of the other guys might jump in on some backup from time to time.
The rest of the band is Lars Ulrich (drums), Kirk Hammet (lead guitar) and they've gone through a few bassists, the original was Cliff Burton, then they had Jason Newstead (who I think is still playing with Voivod, but I might be wrong). Now they have the guy from Cannibal Corpse (if they haven't replaced him yet), but his name slips my minde.

James is right...but the other guy was wrong...the bass player is Rob Trujillo from Suicidal Tendencies and Ozzy...among others
