Differances of taste I suppose. I find very few females comedienes funny but love her delivery. Paula Poundstone is another one I find funny but she hasn't been around for awhile (legal issues). Differnt strokes for different folks. Are you the same guy that thought Bob Saget was a genious as a comedian?

Although I am a Christian and I'm opposed to homosexuality, I find Ellen to be really witty and smart. Like others mentioned before me, she doesn't cuss, talk about her sex life, or anything else that sounds remotely vulgar.

You can have overrated (and vulgar) Sarah Silvermans and Dane Cooks. I'll take Ellen over them anyday.

I've often wondered the same thing. Her show could quite possibly be the most unwatchable show on television, she's so boring. It's honestly amazing how unfunny she is, but I guess enough people like bad attempts at comedy and senseless dancing in between segments that she gets to stay on the air. And to all of the people who think she's funny, post one clip of her saying something funny. I dare you.

I like her because she doesn't use foul language, doesn't talk about her sex life and really doesn't pick on anyone. She talks about things that everyone can relate to in a clean manner. Having said that, I was not pleased with the Oscars last night. Not sure if it was her or the fact that I really don't enjoy the Oscars anyway.

This can't be serious. She's the funniest person I've ever watched - I thought that when I first saw her stand ups on the Comedy Channel and she wasn't famous yet.

Good question. I, personally, would much rather be tied to an ant-infested tree and smeared with honey than to waste time watching her. Perhaps it is an appetite depressant for some.

Because she is. She is one of the top funniest women comedians out there. Hell she is one of the top comedians out there. Her humor isnt just about periods and subjects like that like most women do. But hey its your opinion anyway.

I agree.
The reason is that the liberal, politcally-correct Hollywood set has decided that you MUST like all gay and minority performers, and if you do not, then you are racist/prejudiced/homophobic/whatever.

This liberal mentality is taking over the country, and it is equally bad to the "prejudice" that it purports to combat.
