Somebody installed and uninstalled some programs and now i can't get on the inernet any more!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

tell them to UNFIX it... didnt seem like the fixed it...
did u try re-booting all ur equipment (Modem box, router, pc) in that order, wait a good 20 sec for each to boot before booting the next one...

Your on now aren't you? You need to find out exactly which programs were un-installed from the person who did it and add some details. It is very hard to diagnose the problem with such few details.

Need to know what software it was to help out. If it was some kind of communications software may be aconflicting winsock. i had this problem. Send me message with more a detailed explanation and I may be able to help.

I think it is probably a very easy fix. Have you checked your internet connection to see if there is one present? Also, what you might do is go to "Accessories" ---->"System Tools" ----> select "System Restore" to revert back to the original settings. Good luck.
