it really depends on the situation and who you are as a person. everyone deals with things differently. sometimes i have a choice and sometimes i don't. emotions are tricky things, people spend their entire careers trying to figure them out.

ABSOLUTELY! I made a conscious choice to do that over 3 years ago and I'm so happy that I did. I am what I think I am. It may not work for you because you have to believe what you think.

I think for the most part it's up to us to be happy or sad. Granted, there are things that make us go one way or another that cannot be prevented.

Sometimes yes. Even in times or despair, we find that magical oppurtunity to fix our lives for the better. Seek the opportunity to make a negative into a positive...always. Just like today.

well, i think you can choose to feel happy and enjoy the simple things in life...a child's pure smile, the sunset, the sea, the moon, a rose...they can bring joy to your life if you learn to appreciate the beauty of the simple things in life...

According to my counselor, our thoughts affect our Moods.....and I'm just fine with a tinge of sadness anyway.....
