Because he wants you to be rich off of a sexual harassment lawsuit.

He did it because he likes you and he wanted to A) Know if you were ticklish and B) See how you react to being tickled.
If this is unacceptable to you, you should have a conversation with him telling him that you know that he did not intend to disrespect you but you do feel disrespected. Ask him not to tickle you again.
If, on the other hand, you enjoyed it and you want more of it, tickle him back.
Personally, I love to tickle and be tickled playfully as long as the tickling is consensual.
