Before I went on Birth Control (Had to cause I got married), I could feel myself ovulate... It was pain on either side of my lower abdomen and it was normally around 11-14 after my period had started.

If you are on a normal 28 day cycle, it is around the 14th day that your body ovulates....

Let's just say..it's halfway through your cycle that you ovulate

Ten to sixteen days before your next period. You can learn more about when you personally ovulate by charting fertility signs or using ovulation predictor kits. Check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility for lots of really great information.

Another website you can go to is
www.babyzone.com and it will ask you for your last period start date and how long your cycle last. Another thing is you can buy a ovulation prediction to see when you are actually ovulating. The other thing to know for sure is to buy the clearblue fertlity predictor kit.

you start ovulating around the 12-15 days after your period. You will know it when you start getting a slimy discharge

if you know how long you cycle goes (or even if you have a guess) you can go to this website and it can give you a ovulation predictor. very cool.

www.babycenter.com

also, if you don't want to do that and you want to know by listening to your own body then, it's when you get a discharge after your period. Its kinda like mucus.

Hope that helps
