Either plug and unplug it from one to the other, or buy an AB switch that has USB or Serial inputs/outputs.
I have one that has keyboard and monitor switching capability. It cost about $40 and was very hand to keep work and home computing separate in a small desk space.
In the era of wireless keyboards and mouse why do you really need to do this though?

Buy a keyboard switch, usually sold with a display switch also, just don't connect the displays through the switch. If you have USB keyboards it gets trickier, as they want it to be there when you boot up.

You need to buy something called a 'soft switch'. It allows you to switch back and forth from one PC to the other using one keyboard and one mouse and one monitor... I have one and it works great!
