HATE! I'm sick of their stupid frickin opinions and how they think they need to speak for the "little" people. If they would just act and shut the f*** up I might like 'em more.

Celebrities are fine in and of themselves, it's the attention celebrities get that I dislike. I mean, does it really have to be front page news that Britney Spears shaved her head and escaped from rehab like ten times?
I think Justin Timberlake said it the best when I was watching TV once: right after Britney and K-Fed split, a reporter went up to Justin as he and Cameron Diaz were getting into his car and asked "Justin! What do you think about Britney and Kevin getting divorced?". He said "I think there's a war going on. Get a life."

I tend to agree. However I don't view ALL celebrities the same. I mainly dislike the one's that feel like their opinion is more important than "regular" people's opinions. Why do I need to hear about what they think about the war? What makes them qualified? I mean really? And all the other stuff that seems totally meaningless.
However, if you look at it differently...why are celebrities..."celebrities"? Because “regular” people hold them in such high regard and oooh and aaaah every time we get a peek at them. So who's really to blame?

I don't hate them or love them, i guess they're only regular people, in this case, doing their best at something they like (actors, actresses) and I guess they have only the importance that we give them...but I must say, i don't watch the Oscars, because the movies that I like never win anything, they have always a different point of view and I'd rather stick to my own opinion about the best and worst movies...

I did not watch the Oscars. I like to watch movies and a few shows and to me that is the purpose of an actor/actress I don't care anything else about them or their lives. Unless your talking Kiefer Southerland, lol.

Really neither. Way to busy living my own life,oh but I am here. I guess I just had some free time,so maybe my celebs are here? Need to get off of here and reclaim my life. Thanks for the reality check!

I don't care a bit. They are just normal people. They only important when they in a movie and even then you suppose to see somone else. So i stop playing attention to them.

Most are very self-absorbed, shallow people. I agree! There are only a few I really like.
