I do, so here goes...I don't normally drink but I did this weekend and I aparently offended someone here...go a violation for saying I was too drunk to answer... is that dumb?

no thats not dumb to me. I apologize for dumb things too. I think its a good thing. That goes to show how nice and considerate we are towards other people. I think the world needs more ppl like us. ;)

I apologize only when I do something that would have offended ME in the same situation. That's what the Golden Rule is all about. If I apologized every time some hypersensitive whiner felt bad about something the apology wouldn't mean anything anyway. When I apologize to someone...I'm actually sorry. If I'm not, then I don't apologize.

I apologize for everything. People will get offended for so many things that I'm thinking of just getting a tattoo on my head that reads "I'm sorry" so I can save my voice for better things. In answer to your question, that was a very silly reason for the violation.

Dont worry i get violations all the time, all it does is remove your post unless you do something crazy. Screw whoever reported you for saying that. I get drunk constantly. I'm drunk right now. Report me!
