Your uterus contracts during menstruation & can have some movement, it is attached by ligaments. How is the movement happening? All by itself or with your help? Perhaps you need to go for a check-up with your doc. & find out what's going.

Your uterus does not shift, it contracts during and after your period, this is what moves the "Stuff" along as you probably already know. Your uterus does not really move position untill you are pregnant. It has no need to otherwise. You can talk to your doctor for more information on this. It was most likely air you were feeling.

I agree, yes it's weird to be feeling your uterus! I think it's time you should talk to a nurse about these urges you have. You know I had a test done where a doctor was scraping mine and it HURT LIKE HELL. Besides you could give yourself an infection.

Unless you are pregnant, your uterus is extremely small and is located behind your pubic bone pretty much completely.

I'd be concerned that you could even feel it on your own, and definitely want to be talking to your doctor about that.
