yes, depends on where u go to download files etc... Make sure you have a good antivirus protection; AVAST or AVG is good and FREE. you want good spyware protect as well; Spywareguard is FREE and also very good.

well with torrents, there is lot less chance of getting a virus, trojan, etc.. than using something like limewire, or p2p software.
