Yes, you can record up to 2 programs and watch another with most DVRs. It depends on whether you have cable or satellite. I have satellite and I had to have 2 lines run, so that I could watch one show while recording another. Check with your cable or internet provider for more information. They can help.

I know that the new TIVo's are set up to do this. I think you may be able to set it up with Satellite, or so I was told by my expert. Now, you can do it with a cable box, however it isn't all that easy, which was not what I wanted to hear. Unfortunately, you have to have 2 boxes, if you use a cable box, that' the only way you are going to get the two feeds.

Yes, TiVo does that. You can record 2 things and watch 1 thing already recorded at the same time! TiVo's are great and I highly reccomend it. Once you buy one, you are hoocked for life! :)
