it is impossible for me to email someone and not allow them to email me back. All I asked of you was to respect my religion and keep your attacks aimed at me. Care to post that 'hate filled' email? Didn't think so. And I don't need your 'pitty' lol

sassikatx, I guess you don't have TOO much invested to compare the majority of americans to those who 'allegedly' killed your friend.

I wish you guys got this worked up when reps call for the deaths of all libs! lol, i won't hold my breath. The 'shock' you have all experienced by this question ( I know it isn't the worst one you have seen, just that you expect more from me) is quite hilarious!

We care about 9-11 because it was a tragedy. 3000 innocent Americans died at the hands those who irrationally hate us. They all happen to be Muslim. We remind ourselves of 9-11 so we don't let our guard down. That's how we allowed ourselves to be attacked in the first place. It has been proven throughout 13 years that diplomacy doesn't work with terrorists. War is the only viable option.

I didn't think concern about 9/11 was merely among Republicans. I thought all Americans cared about the hideous events that occured that day.
Republicans care about 9/11 because our entire country (not merely the government and not merely NYC) was sucker punched. Three thousand innocent people were incinerated to death (and it could have been ALOT more -- WTC held around 50,000 people); two landmarks were destroyed and one seriously damaged; lower Manhattan was reduced to a war zone; flights were canceled and people stranded; an entire economy was nearly crippled for two years; the stock market tanked; the unemployment rate rose; billions were spent (and still are being spent) on national security and intelligence; we have invaded two countries on account of their support for global terror, have lost 3,000 soldiers, and are spending billions every month.
Does all that satisfy you?
That 9/11 happened in "liberal" NYC was totally irrelevant to Republicans. Unlike libs, we don't categorize people into groups. We were all human that day and we still are. It is sad that you have failed to learn that simple lesson.

I think most Republicans care about their fellow human beings. They do not like seeing all the Americans that were killed by terrorists. Why can't we all unite and fight the enemies of American? Why because people on both sides want the power that being in charge brings rather than for the good of the people they are serving.

I hope you're kidding.
If not, ever think of the idea that we care about ALL Americans, even the ones that disagree with us?
I don't think terrorists have a political affiliation, other than to support people who will allow them to operate more freely. That seems to be the picture being painted about Dems.

Technically, it happened to a FINANCIAL building in NYC, and Republicans do care about money and business.
That of course is the cynical side of it.
Last time I looked, being conservative did not mean you don't care about others, you just feel individual help is more important than government program help.
Now the
"...unless you DON'T believe that all democrats are terrorists?"
part is obviously stupid flame bait, and puts you on the same level as the neocon troll types on the board. That kind of flaming from either side of the aisle accomplishes nothing.

As an aside, you are wrong about the e-mail part. Answer e-mail does not give the real e-mail address. You can e-mail me via answers, I cannot return the e-mail. I generally just delete those that have it set up that way without reading.
As I said, just an aside - Dio

Sure it happened in NY. That is still in America last I checked. I think liberals are wrong. I would fight to the death to protect their right to air their opinion, but I think anyone giving aid and comfort to the enemy is a traitor. Having said that.. Heidi you make me understand again with this bitterness that you slough off so easily on everyone that does not share your opinion, why I want nothing to do with liberals.

It is not a political issue, it is a human one. The US was attacked on 9/11 by fanatical islamic terrorists. They didn't care what political party their victims were affiliated with. They just wanted to murder innocent people, and they did.
BTW: Not all people living in NY are liberals, that's stereotyping. Shame on you.
By your way of thinking: Since most of the US military is republican or independent, they should only support and defend the Constitution as it applies to their political parties and leave the cowardly, cumbayah singing liberals to defend themselves?

I doubt all 3000 victims were card-carrying communists...although in New York, one cannot be certain.
All kidding aside, Americans are Americans are Americans. An attack on one is an attack on all. If Kim Jong-Il were to kidnap Ted Kennedy tomorrow, I'd still be in favor of rescuing the Senator and retaliating against DPRK...although I'd enjoy the temporary lack of verbosity.

NYC maybe a majority liberal, but their are plenty of conservatives that live there, and I don't believe I have heard of any elected republican calling for the death of liberals. But I do believe that Liberals (elected) are traitors. Your post makes no sense.
