Ford Maintenance interval for timing belts:
120,000 normal miles for belt. driving habits may decrease this amount of miles but on average 120,000 miles. this engine is a non-interference engine meaning that if the belt breaks or slips time during engine running it will not cause internal engine damage. but will leave you stopped along side of road. the timing belt guide pulley should be replace as a precaution. if it goes out it will allow the belt to slip timing.
you can also go to myford and register your car. this site has all the maintenance schedules as well as other information for you car. you can also check for ford coupons for repairs they have some pretty good ones from time to time.
