I GOT A SAMSUNG D900 FROM o2 UNDER A CONTRACT ,BUT WHEN I WENT TO INDIA AND TRIED TO USE THE PHONE WITH AN INDIAN SIM, IT DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY.....WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM???? IS SOME CODE THAT WE CAN ENTER?????

You can't use the D900 in India you need QuadBand for that + the D900 only had TriBand.

Yes same thing happened to my friend as well. I think the phone has to be a quadband to work in India or something like that. Thats why you should have bought sony ericcson k800i.

sounds like you phone needs dechipping so you can use any sim.

most private mobile phone shops do the service for £10 in the UK

Did you ask your network provider for the 'Roam' facility? If not, that will be the reason.
