according to the web sites I visited the average weight is 6 - 9 tons with 6 and 7 tons showing up the most. Though it is hard to really tell since they are wild and wont willingly step up on a scale. Hope this helps :)

Male Pacific orcas (killer whales) usually weigh about 12,000 to 14,000 pounds, females around 9,000 to 10,000 pounds. Subtract about 2,000 pounds for Atlantic orcas.

I did a report on them several years back and If I remember correctly, they weight about a minimum of a ton to 2 tons.
