angels don't impersonate people, they seem human to you when they bring a message or have a mission to accomplish regarding
you, acting as intermediarie between God and you, every individual soul has one as a guardian, and they are everywhere,
doppelgangers are generally regarded as harbingers of bad luck
ghosts are to summarize - most of the ghosts that we hear of are made of ectoplasm. Ectoplasm is sort of like a living fluid that is usually borrowed by the spirit of the ghost, from the person or persons seeing a ghost . It does this to become visible. As the ectoplasm leaves the body, the witnesses may experience a chill and even shrink.
it can be quite confuse to you ,however if you had seen an impersonation then it will be a doppelganger.
remember this:
No evil shall befall you, nor shall affliction come near your tent, for to His Angels God has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways. Upon their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

I don't know about angel's, but wow it sure would explain a lot. Then there would also have to BE evil angels too, wouldn't there? "Angel" wouldn't be the right word for it either... at least, for the scary, terrifying ghosts. Then again, the bible says that "Satan and his angels (referring to those that followed him).. disobeyed Jehovah"... then there are statements saying that Satan WAS an angel that chose to do his way...
Doppelgangers I think are a thing of their own. Never seen one, but unlike ghosts they're imprints/images of actual living people. I'm not sure HOW a Doppelganger is formed, but maybe it's something to do with the theory on ghosts and how they replay the same event over and over again - instead, it's of a real person?

If you believe what the bible says, the answer is yes. The Bible states: "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2). I am not sure what a doppleganger is, but if it is something other than a physical being I would have to say no, as I would with ghosts (spirits). The verse quoted above obviously speaks of physical "strangers" who are able to be "entertained". I don't think I have ever seen an angel, but who knows, maybe I have and I am just "unawares". This word seems to indicate that we would never know the difference between an angel and a human. If your question is, Can an angel impersonate an actual person, say, Abraham Lincoln, the answer is no. That would be deception. That would more likely be a demon (fallen angel).

Yes at Times Angels can come into a Persons Physical body, but only those whom are very highly spiritually Evolved! Doppelgangers are entirely different,Doppelgangers is an experience where you have an experience of being outside of yourself and you see two of yourself, some dopplegangers have been noted to be seen in two different places at the exact time! Ghosts are mainly ordinary people whom have gotten stuck in this earth third dimension, and havn't moved on into the Light, they are trapped here, most do not mean any harm;like once a ghost of a young girl came to my house actually to my 6yr old very Psychic daughter, inherited from me,but a lot stronger in her abilities,She asked my daughter"I'm Lost,I want my Daddy,Last we were driving in a car!" I quickly helped my young daughter work out via asking questions, that her dad had a nasty car accident and they both were killed,He moved on,but she was Lost, confused and very afraid, especially being too young to be aware of Moving on into the Light as she should have,I do not know why others from spirit realms did not help her,But together my daughter and myself took her into the 4th Dimension, which is often called "the light" Sadly what we believe in at the very momen of our death decides if we get trapped here as a ghost or not, then there are those whom stay because they want to be nasty,or have a grudge ect.Hope this answers your question.

could be.
Angels can be spiritual or sometimes a person will come into your life and they'll seem like an angel because of their uncanny intunement to your needs, maybe they are an angel.
People will claim there are no such things as angels but I find that hard to believe since I believe I have my own personal guardian angel who has spent an awful lot of time looking out for me. It is more improbable that I am so lucky on my own that a guardian angel is the only explanation I can think of for my well being.
Ghosts probably are not angels but an energy presence that is so strong we are able to see or sense its presence or it may even effect movement of matter.
Just because we can't see things doesn't mean they don't exist , I think there is a reference to that being a reason for having faith in God since God is a presence unseen but thats another story

From what is known, angels don't typically walk around interacting with humans or pretending to be human like in some movies (I suddenly have a view askew film in mind (-=). I assume that if their duties here on earth call for it, they can impersonate a human being, but I have never heard of an angel pretending to be a human that is presently living (or even a person that has lived previously).
Doppelgangers are the phenomenon of seeing our "twin." It is believed by some that doppelgangers are actually our astral self projected so that we can see it.
Ghosts are on a different level than angels or doppelgangers. Ghosts are defined as deceased souls that exist on the earthly plane. To contrast, spirits are deceased souls that have "crossed over" or moved on to the other planes of existence, and visit the earthly plane rather than live on it.
To define angels, they are spiritual entities that have never lived on our plane of existence, and serve a purpose. There are angels for various things, which you can read more about on the Internet.
My father has what he believed to be an encounter with an angel. He was just out of college and going into the army. He was terrified that he'd be sent overseas to fight. He went to the bulletin board to see if his name was there; he was alone. As he saw his name was on the list to be sent overseas, he felt like someone was behind him. He turned around to find a man, who looked of middle-eastern descent, dressed all in white. This man had somehow come up behind my father, without being seen or heard despite the ground being gravel. The man spoke very calmly and basically conveyed to my father that he would be safe overseas. The man then disappeared.
That is the typical story you'll find of most people who have had encounters with angels. They come in your time of need, and some are sent to watch over us for a period of time. Some have very specific purposes.

Now this is putting two completely different things together. In theology, angels are basically God's army, if you will. They are said to be all male (but then again who's to say it is true? After all, christianity in all its forms is pretty much patriarchal, and they don't seem to value a woman's importance, really...) and live in a hierarchy in heaven. Kind of like down in hell, the fallen ones down there.
Now, doppelgangers and ghosts are an entirely different thing; they are not a theological subject at all, and in my opinion, are actually real. Angels, an invention basically of christianity, are not.
That's my opinion about it, I know some people might not like it, but hey... I just want to speak my mind, 's all.

The Bible reveals that angels can take the form of humans and walk on earth. As for ghosts, these must be the manifestations of demons. Demons were once angels, but have fallen from grace since. Kinda like elves that have become orcs. I mean no disrespect
The Bible advises us not to dabble in the spiritual unknown.

Great question! Which presents an interest in some research and thought. The scriptures does say that satan can appear as an angel of light so I think you have something here. We know that the fallen angels are also considered demons but there are other forms of demons from what I've been studying in demonology.
