Had period Feb 3rd. Ovulation test said peak fertility the 17th and 18th. Then I took a clearblue ovulation test strip and it was positive on the 17th and negative by the afternoon od the 18th. Does this mean I ovulated on the 18th or could it have been 19th or 20th? Once the LH surge goes down does this mean you have already ovulated? My husband and I had sex on the 17th and 18th. When can I take a pregnancy test?

March 3rd is late enough to take a test.

Good luck!

Usually the LH surge happens before you ovulate, so if test was negative you had probably already ovulated. Some pregnancy tests say you can test as early as 7 to 10 days past ovulation, but i would wait until you miss your period. That way you don't get a false negative. I had to wait a week or two after my missed period for my test to show positive and i have had two. If you really want to be sure i would get a blood test done. they are usually the most accurate.

I agree with other posters on this. Please test when your period is late. We know your dying to know but the only way to know for sure is a test when your period is late or a blood pregnancy test.

Good luck

You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you've missed your period.
