Crispy/juicy Vigan longganisa with garlic fried rice, atchara, and an egg sunny side up. Pair that with a steaming cup of tsokolate-ah (native chocolate drink) and I'm in breakfast heaven!

Another favorite is tinapang bangus (smoked milkfish), a side dish of chopped tomatoes and red egg salad, and garlic fried rice.

As for the type of longganisa... I prefer the savory, rather than the sweet, variety. It's that garlicky spicy taste that keeps me coming back for more. That type of longganisa is found in Vigan, Baguio, and other areas of the Ilocos region. Lucban (Quezon) and Cabanatuan (Nueva Ejica) longganisa are good too.

Ooooh, Pinoy breakfasts!

On a rainy day, I love champorado with a ton of evap milk! I don't care for the salted fish that much though.

Also pan de sal with runny sunny side up eggs.

Danggit with spicy vinegar too.

Don't forget the fresh orange juice!
