I don't think so, most barefooters I know are guys. Both online and off-line. Maybe women are more likely to briefly kick off their shoes when their shoes, chosen more for fashion than comfort, hurt, but when it comes to really going barefoot outdoors a lot, far most of those I know are male.
When I started going barefoot ten years ago I thought those numbers might be off because so many more men were online than women, but I think the women pretty much caught up by now, there's lots of women online nowadays and still there are more men posting on the barefooters' forums and mailing lists.

IT all depends on the lady. my mother hardly is barefoot, and I am barefoot all the time in the summer time.

for animals, the answer is no. for humans, i am sure it depends on where you look. but i doubt that the time spent barefoot is significantly diffeent between males and females.
