Why 2 parties in USA take image of a donkey & elephant as their symbols ?

Probably the donkey means hard worker.persistent and exploited by rich elephants. Donkey represent the blue collar workers.
The elephant is a huge body that can't work or do any effort to get what he wants. They made a living in easy way intimidating the low class workers. They represent the white collar workers.

this is unknown the place the Democrats have been given the donkey image, some say it got here from insults in the time of an election some years in the past. The Republicans have been given their elephant image from a political comic strip by utilising Thomas Nast, printed in Harper's Weekly on 7 November 1874. They desperate to apply it as a mascot. Their mascots do no longer signify their events believes or practices.

The donkey symbolizes something whose stupidity makes it stubborn, and it poops in its own house. The elephant symbolizes something which often takes the path of least resistance. I aint happy with either one of 'em.
