I had a baby lastyear and I just started my birthcontrol pills again yesterday. I was having sex with my husband this morning without a condom on thinking hes going to pull out and he doesn't!! He says i thought you started your pills? Doesn't it take a month to get in your system? I really cant have another baby right now. Do you think the pills are going to cover me or should i get the Plan B (morning after pill) just in case?

Time for Plan B. The pills are not protecting you yet.

If you are very worried about it, then you should get the plan b to be sure, but depending on what pill you are taking, yuou could be covered. I would call the pharmacy and ask how effective your pill would be. They will know. (you can also remain anonomous)

good luck

hello jenny penny you should use protection for sure the pill hasnt taken any effects as of tey and once a hard cock is inserted into your vigina there is sperm already released into your tubes so actually you shouldnt have let your husband have you without protection dear and he probably never intender to pull it out once he put it into your vigina

From what I have heard, the pill usually takes about a month to become effective.

If you only started your pills yesterday, and you REALLY don't want to get pregnant. I would get plan B. Good Luck.

I thought it was 7 days, but you are still under that time frame too. You might want to call your doctor to find out if you need to take it.

you dont need plan b. just double up for today and tonight or tommorrow morning and then stop after your second dousage. you should get your period soon after that. after your period take the bc normally till it runs out. after your next period you should be good.
