Why is it that the louder I turn up my music...?

...the louder my neighbors slam their doors in the stairwell? Are they trying to tell me something or is this a noise competition? Should I turn up the bass?

Upgrade your system. Get some new woofers and a hard @$$ 2,000 watt amp. That will shut your neighbors up.
