After recent performances of australian team, and tking into consideration the absence of talented performers, and lack of form and the climatic condition in which the team wil be playing the Prestigious World Cup 2007, naturally there will be stress and tension. So we can't categoriclly say that they will WIn.
The other participating teams have already played in those climate and so they get acclamatised easily and will deliver their best.
Cricket is such a game , and some rules in the game are also so tricky sometimes, that whom you rate as the worst may come nd show up as the best. The dark horses are definitely there.
No team can be neglected by any other team. They all should play well.
India, having not been able to show their talent, ands having failed to live up to the expectations of all Indians and indian Cricket fans, are having more than enough potential, talent and LATENT SKILLS.Who knows their skills may show up as they are not going to lose any thing by losing, definitely there is less stress thiss time as Indians are not expecting miracles from them. This is a plus point for us and I HOPE INDIA HAS A GOOD CHANCE TO WIN IN THE WORLD CUP 2007.
God Bless Indian Team.

it really is truly a call between a) Australia and b) some different person, i'd say the Aussies are about even money. SA were #2 for a lengthy time period now, WI ought to do nicely at residing house yet Gayle isn't firing and he's a key participant. India look getting into type on the right time yet their fielding is undesirable. Pakistan ought to conquer Australia yet lose to Holland, they do no longer have the consistency to win yet ought to wonder. NZ have the firepower in Oram and McCullum yet no longer a consistent runscorer on the genuine, SL count too a lot on an growing older Murali/Vaas/Jayasuriya. And England? Doing extra appropriate at present, yet on very last 18 months' type will do nicely to attain the great 8s!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO
Its India all the way to the cup
Rahul Dravid would no longer be captain in 2011, not even Sourav and Tendulkar.
The team of 2007 is very steady.
Factors helping India -
The best indian team going for the World Cup after the 1983 Presidential Cup. India has found good openers in Ganguly and Uthappa, with Sehwag in there too. Yuvraj, Dravid, Dhoni and Tendulkar steady the middle order to form one of the best middle order batting. Lower middle order of Kumble, Harbhajan, Zaheer can hit a few runs too.
As on bowling - Zaheer and Sreesanth/Munaf Patel will be opening and are not as bad. Kumble, Harbhajan and Sachin - Sehwag can bowl many spin overs between them. That leaves one guy extra. He can be employed as a strike bowler - Irfan/Sreesanth or Dinesh Kaarthick as the 11th guy. Irfan can bat as well.
It is a very powerful batting line-up, and make take a beating on their bowling lineup.
Quality Fielders are in plenty - Yuvraj, Uthappa, Sachin, Kaarthick. Fielders like Munaf Patel will have to be hided on the field.
There are all winning chances for India. India will reach the semi-finals for sure.

Autralia's World Cup chances have been taken away by England and New Zealand by defeating them in the tri series and in the Chappell-Hadlee series......Just before these 2 series' Aussis were the strongest team & everyone hoped that they will have the world cup for the third concecutive time......Australia have a lot of injuries(Brett Lee, Mathew Hayden, Andrew Symonds etc).....These injuries have taken their chances away......

Irrespective of the recent perfomances of Australia it still has those match winners that they had in the past.Even if Australia lose 5 series on the trot you still cannot rule them out

Australia,s.africa and pakistan have the most number of individual match winners, and allrounders. So it should be one of these teams.
I think s.africa are the favourites because they are in the best form, and have proven/succesful players.
