I rented 3 executive suites in an expensive, upper class hotel and invited like 8 to 10 of my friends. We totally wreaked havoc on the place and ran around all night, went to the pool, went in the 24 hour restaurant, etc. It was pretty pricey though, so I don't know if you'll want to do that but MAN was it fuuuuuuuuuun! We put the FU back in FUN! lol It was super grown up and sophisticated too, yet it still maintains the funness. Happy Birthday!

Even though you just want to invite very few people a back yard party is really fun! you can dance to your favorite music and make up games to play.
You can also go to a movie theater with a small group of friends.
You should probably think of what your going to do a little more than you would with any other birthday party because 12 is a really good year!

well whatever you decided to do, Happy birthday.

Don't rush it into adult-hood and enjoy your youth, i know you get that a lot of times, but that's because it's true.

When i was your age, growing up was my only aspiration, i wanted to get a car, hang out late, drink beer and be free. Now that I am an adult, crawling under the weight of responsibilites, commitments and financial difficulties, i reminisce on the days when i had nothing to worry about except for getting good grades, and making sure that girl next door notices me.

Facts don't have to be frustrating, this is how life goes on so enjoy your time, BE a kid as long as you are a kid, and take your time growing up.. you'll be there sooner than you might even think or hope.

Happy Birthday bud :-)

If you have enough money...you could cruise around town in a limo for a little bit..maybe get a bite to eat. Or just have party at the roller rink and skate the night away. Either way, you 'll be with your friends, so anythign you do will be fun!

Sleepover with a "Back To The Future" movie marathon, and have everybody come dressed as a different character. Enjoy your youth while you can being grown up is overrated!

i am just coming up 13 so I've had my 12th but i think that you should get a pet of Ur own unless of course you don't like animals or are allergic and even if you already have one of your own and then you should go to coral reef till closing time and then you should go to a friends house with the rest of ur mates.
That's my plan for my 13th but i can only go to the coral reef till closing time , perhaps you have some slightly less protective more reasonable parents.

why do something grown up? when i was turning 12 i had a small party with three people, and we went to the arcade... you could go to a skating rank, something like that. you are 12, you arent grown up yet. so continue being a kid, because once you do get older youll probably wish you were a kid again...

Ask if you and your friends can be dropped off at the mall and spend tones of money that always makes me feel grown up and its really cool to have your own Independence.
