Of course. That's the "best by" date or even a "sell by" date. The yogurt is still perfectly good for even a week after that date. Because it's not an expiration date.
Also meats are very suseptible to dates, but dairy is pretty flexible. Especially if it's not been opened.

Sure, I'd even eat it a couple of days past the expiration date.

Sure... they cushion the expiration date because they know people like us are going to eat it anyway.

yes, expiration date is marked before it really expires
there is not trouble with yougort most causios with other things like fish

I have been told that most products are good for one week beyond their "sell by" or "use by" dates.
if it doesn't smell funny, eat it.
