I don't fancy her at all. Oscars is not the place for her.

I dont know if American Idol "made" her. She won an Oscar for acting not for singing.
Maybe because of AI she got an audition but i dont know if they are responsible for her winning her Oscar.
But you're standing up there with a room full of people staring at you. You only have a small amount of time to speak. Maybe she just couldnt think.
I think its more rude when the actuall AI winnders dont thank AI.

I was reading somewhere that the winners had a chance to speak into a "thank-you cam" backstage. The videos I believe would be played on oscar.com, and will be available for viewing until next year's Academy awards. She may've said something about American Idol to the "thank-you cam".

Jennifer Hudson has been very gracious about all the accolades and awards she's received from her role in Dreamgirls. She does not owe AI anything. They were very critical of her, especially Simon when she was on that show. I remembered he said she had no talent. What person in their right mind, would give a huge thanks to a show and it's judges that dismissed them? You don't thank your naysayers, if you believed them, you would have foolishy have given up on your dreams.

Why should she thank them? They said horrible things and tried to kill her dreams. If she would have listened to them she would not have an Oscar. They told her that she was out of her league and criticized her weight. She doesn't owe Idol a damn thing!!!!!

She's gone on record to say she had a horrible experience on AI. She even accused them of brainwashing the contestants. So there's not much love there...

I think she did the right thing. I mean AI didnt pick her and although it gave her a start she was the BEST one vocally on the show and in true American fashion wasnt picked. I think thanking God as much as she did was PERFECT!

Thank God she won.Maybe it was because of her experience on AI that prompted that.At least she didn't Norbited her Oscar away like that idiot Eddie Murphy did.
