We had the same problem. I think boys names are harder because you are trying to make sure it is a strong name and that the kid wont be teased.

We didnt go to any sites. We bought a baby name dictionary at a book sale, called 20,001 Names For Baby, and went through it writing down all the boy names we liked on a piece of paper, then we went through them and weeded some out, and arranged them to create a name we both liked.

We came up with Aaron Jordan for our future boy. The funny thing is we came up with two girl names ( Elaina Jocelyn and Corrine Renae ) very easily, and had a hard time with finding only one boys name we like. Gosh...I hope we have at least one girl or we will have to do this process all over again. Lol!

You know, there is never going to be a "perfect or right" name...
We're pregnant too and we can only think of boy names and not girl names. We are currently polling family members for names (a great way to go, because they're most likely to make comments about the name we choose) and we're looking at characters from our favorite books, tv shows, movies and heros. There are a million baby name books and resources online, but that is a little overwhelming. I went on the Social Security Index online and looked at the top 100 names and then I looked at the 500-600 top names to find some unique spellings and ideas. Good luck in your search. It is quite the process!

You will think of the perfect boy name when you need to. I thought we were having a boy and had loads of boy things and the best boy name picked out when we were pleasantly surprised by our daughter. She was actually "Baby Girl" for the first couple days until we decided on a name.

Think of family members you love, don't get too hung up on what is popular. Pick a name that goes well with your last name. Don't worry. Enjoy your pregnancy!!!

This is not a problem. There's an e-library that you can refer to on the net and you would find some many baby names and there meaning. Simply use the search engine of yahoo and / or other search engines by searching for baby boy names and you'd be too pleased. Congrats and best of luck.

why don't you wait until you see the child? everyone picks names way too early in their pregnancy. by the time the babe arrives most people have changed their minds a dozen times.
before our daughter was born we had two names picked out for a girl and two for a boy.
once she came into the world and we held her and looked into that little face, we realized neither name suited her. we chose a totally different name from what we were thinking and it fit her beautifully.
so don't worry, you'll do just fine with names, just do me a favor and pick real names, not some of these loopy names people come up with now-a-days.
wishing you the very best
take good care and get lots of rest
cheers

My husband and I had the boys name as soon as we knew we were pregnant, Thomas Allen
For a girl, we looked at books, and never agree. One day, we went to the book, pick ten names we liked and we thought the other would like. We had one name on each list
That is how we came up with our daughter name
The middle name was going to be my mom's middle name
Here are some names I like
Connor, Alex, Maddox, Weston, Micheal, Thomas, Patrick, David, Trevor, Mitchell, Evan, Aaron, Jasper, Ryan, Quinn, Damian, Julian, Sebastian and Levi
Good luck, you will find a name

Do you know, I once had a spiritual Vietnamese friend in art school who told me that whatever name a child's name was decided upon, was already chosen by other spiritual influences, which guide us, to let the name chosen for your babe to come into your consciousness at the RIGHT time!
And that the parents, would allow this name to preside and be formally chosen, for reasons, as of YET, remaining unbeknown to them.
Therefore, I am certain you and your husband will name your babe with much grace and appropriateness according to a spiritual fate.
Be happy you'll have a brand new child enter the world. May you three be graced!
Bye.
Buddhist.
