The British are responsible for civilizing most of the world. The empire may not be big anymore, but the enfluence is. Alot of countries governments are patterned after Great Britains. I think they are a GREAT country.

I think the name was initially used, in the early 17th Century, to note the union between England and Scotland, and to intimidate their rivals, France and Spain. As for what has made them great since, innovation, technology, and the fact that most of America's desire for freedom, capitalism and world leadership came from Britain. And let's not forget they, led by Winston Churchill fought the Nazis AND warned about the rise of the Soviets before we even seriously considered such oppositions.
It was only when they clamped down on that in the 1770s that we split. Had George III used his head, there might not have been an American Revolution for at least another generation, maybe more. And we'd probably be a parliamentary democracy within the Commonwealth, like Canada and Australia.

Being a tiny nation geographically ,they were ruling about 50 countries and exploiting their resources,one country becoming super rich at the cost of others in the past century and before.
Is it not great about great Britain w/o any ethics ,logic and Dharama?

I strongly suspect that the word "great" was not originally intended to mean "wonderful" but rather extending beyond the borders of one geographic entity. In other words, it was an empire.
