But their was only one person that said don't tell her and just fix the situation and you'll keep your friendship and just move on.
my point is sometimes when you people give advice you never consider that when people make a mistake it's not always good to confront the mistake. I think that saving a friendship without trying to be perfect in the friendship would mean that some things just should not be told. We should alwyas encourage one another no always show our faults. let me know what you think?

The truth can definitely hurt alright. But I don't think people want you to feel even more bad-they're just trying to tell you to face the facts before you go chasing after something that is never going to work out for you. A lot of times when we're in need of help we want to hear a certain answer-the answer that tells us that everything will work out the way we want it and stuff. But not all of the situations in life are going to turn out how we want them to. I've been in a lot of relationships (in general) with people and sometimes I have to let them go because things aren't working out and never really will. It's tough because sometimes I think, "No way! There's gotta be a way to fix this."
I do agree with you that we need to encourage others. I do think that some people just like to point out mistakes of people. It depends on how a person words what they are telling you to tell if they are trying to look out for you or if they are just trying to hurt you. There are genuine people on here who care for your behalf and will give you advice-it may not be what you want to hear all the time but it can sometimes really stop you from doing something you may regret. And there's also your friends and family who actually know you personally and who want the best for you!

Well i suppose if you like the person maybe you being deceptive to her by pretending you just want friendship i saw your question earlier and you basically said you were 70% sure she just wanted you as a friend, life hard pal and i do sympathise with you but that is false friendship on your part you want to date her and she doesn't even know. Part of me feels you know she probably doesn't feel the same way as you at that's hard but just move on honesty is the best policy if you care for someone you should never deceive or lie to them if you didn't like the answers you shouldn't ask the truth hurts sorry and good luck:)
