My friend and I are travelling around for 3 months starting in Mumbai. Was just wondering if anyone else on here is going to be there around the same time, and if anyone knows anything about nightlife out there. I heard some places have raves but it's all hush hush. we're really into our breakbeat and drum n bass, and house too.

My friends above have indicated the availability of the kind of stuff you have in mind before your visit to India. Plus many more places / cities in India can offer you these things.

What I intend to say that don't pre-occupy your mind with the kind of stuff you have been experiencing in the West. For novelty, different kind of stuff of joy and humanity, multi shades of life and nature and much more, explore India as an altogehter a different desination. Perhaps, it may change the course of your life in a far positive manner.

i really don't think your going to get any raves in mumbai,, you need to head to Goa for all those hush hush raves and full Moon parties,, though even in Goa the police are clamping down on these,, and who can blame them,, i stayed on Tito's road in a guest house for 2 months. it was unbearable. was going to move somewhere quieter but we had our mum and dad with us ,, and seeing as they are both a bit deaf, and it did.nt bother them, the hassle wasn't worth it, so we stuck it out with a few pegs of the local feni to knock us to sleep,, lol
