I think if there was something really wrong, he'd want to see you before April.

No, dont be worried. I get an u/s every 2 weeks to check up on my growing twins. They may want to see you again earlier because 36 weeks is a little late for only a second growth scan. And if the Dr thought there was something wrong they would have it done as soon as possible they wouldnt be waiting for April to even come. Hope this helps calm your fears. Good Luck and Congrats.

If there was anything to worry about they would have you in before April - it sounds like the doctor has looked through your notes and wants to do another scan just to be on the safe side - it is all fine and don't worry - if there was a problem you would be back in there this week - good luck with your birth

Dont be too worried about going for another scan it is probably just routine to keep an eye on fluid levels, I had the same when i was pregnant with my son and he was born at 38 weeks fit and healthy!

Don't worry I know it's easier said than done as it's a parents job to worry but I'm sure everything is fine if they thought something was wrong they would want to see you earlier than April, I'm sure it's just routine...congrats and good luck

they should be giving you another scan before 36 weeks since you're only 9 weeks now...it's normal...they just may have gotten confused while you were there. Don't worry, they jsut want to make sure your baby stays healthy. Good luck!

if there was something wrong with you or your baby they would want to see you right away not wait untill april, so dont worry,
as in the begining they were worried about the fluid level its just precaution, better to be safe then sorry.
sounds like everythings fine, hope u enjoy your baby when he/she comes xx

You're lucky your doctor is being so cautious. don't be worried. If everything has been ok this far, it's probably routine. I would be paranoid too, believe me. Also, remember...he wants to see you in April. If anything was wrong, he'd want you in a LOT sooner. right? Calm down.....don't stress out, and good luck.

Honey, it's probably routine, but if it helps, you can phone the doctor to question his decision.
Remember that everything they do is for baby's safety and your peace of mind.
Wouldn't you have spent those months wondering if there were something wrong if you weren't offered this earlier scan?

No, actually it's quite the contrary. It is highly abnormal to have one visit at 19 weeks and then another at 36 weeks. Visits should be about 4 weeks apart to check the growth and development.
