Consider the way the movie is told - mostly backwards, but with flashbacks and flash forwards - far, far from the normal linear style of most movies. This is disorienting for the viewer.

Also, think about the main character and his condition - because of his inability to make new memories, he's constantly disconnected from the world and need to try to orientate himself as best he can. He can't be sure of anything, not even who his friends and enemies are or what he was planning to do a few minutes ago. So he constantly has to establish his goals anew.

Further, think about the way the viewer never finds out what the real truth is . We don't know who's lying to the main character and who's telling him the truth (about basically everything that happens before the movie), and we can't rely on the main characters memory. We never find out for sure if the story about the wife is his own or a story of someone else. That's another example of disconnection from reality.

Nothing is stable.

I haven't seen the movie, but I know what is postmodern age...

So the film is postmodern if it shocks ...
and if one can see there some of this aspects ..
if..
..something happens against the morality set by God and nobody objects ...(postmodernism is the temptation coming from some famous ideeas belonging to some famous people that God doesn't exist ...If someone seeks for God and it looks like God isn't going to show up too soon...So others ...forget about Him and do things they shouldn't do...because they are chaotical disapointed by some evil from society (world war II )

..there is an irony along the movie ,

..the true values of morality seems to fail ..

...there is an abstract , imaginary world there in the movie - I mean something that it doesn't exist in reality and shall never exist ...This imaginary world is an exageration that shall never happen , coming from disapointment when seeing the evil of our world (wars , mentally ,sexually , economically coruption
). So they are verry disapointed and they imagine even worse things...But this shall never happen , because people are rational beings ..e.g Hitler was stopped .

--if the film makes fun of something, in a different way then classical, meaning they realise the evil of past ...and make fun of the stupid thought of the past ...
