I need to make a model which explains the causes, effects and results of water pollution. It can be anything, from having live fish to paper ones. Any IDEAS at all?

Hey, i once did that when i was in secondary one. I used a 2 transparent plastic container, filled up with water. Next i placed fake toy fishes or water creatures in the water, in both containers; and one of the container, i pour in oil and soil in it, cooking oil will do. The other one, i used sulphur powder ( it is used when there is a big forest fire.).
Explanation:
Firstly, farmers do farming near river, therefore their soil, pesticides as oil in this case will then be wash into the river water by the rain.
secondly, the sulpur powder has the same connection....
Hope it helps; belive it or not i Aced this project.

hi! thank you on your initiative. I do wish that, despite the fact that eco-undertaking you return to a decision upon, that's one you pick directly to pursue someday contained sooner or later. My suggestion is: a river throughway. coming up a chain of public parks, community gardens, and jogging/cycling trails alongside the river, which will help safeguard the watershed and sell the well-being of surrounding citizens. Cheers!

a diorama maybe? you can get "gems" at a craft store in a blue shade to use for water....glue them on the bottom of the box to form the water........maybe a boat glued to the gems with oil spill in the water(black gemstones?), animals such as beavers with oil in coat, whales etc some cartons(you can get candy in mini cartons and bottles to use for the litter)
