There are several things a garage sell, sell them online, consignment stores, and there are stores that buy and sell old clothes. When I lived in Flagstaff Arizona there was a very popular store that bought and sold old clothes I can't remember their name though. Also you could consider donating them to charity and claiming it on your taxes. There are so many things you can do good luck.

Make attractive cards with your information on them to place all over town.. free advertising means more profit for you. Now if you do that, you only need a small ad in the paper for the friday, saturday, sunday garage/porch/moving sale hunters. Also if you have a theatrical group in your town you might ask them what they might give you for the complete collection before you even advertise it.

Go on ebay or craigslist.com but be sure to take really good pictures (that will help you get the most money for your auctions). Maybe even take a picture with the clothing on (take your face out of the photo, tho).
If they are unique clothes you should get plenty of bids.
GOOD LUCK!

via ebay but make sure the pictures are good! or you could start a stall up in London or a big market like Birmingham rag or Nottingham lace markets... a friend of mine started a stall up in notting hill on saturdays even though she lived in the north- she made enough money to make the commute worth it...

i would use ebay but thats only if you have an account and you want to spend money taking pics and everything. But other than that you can always try a garage sale.

Try something like a Plato's Closet or a resale shop that is not a good will. Or try craigslist.com. You will get more money on craigslist.

Consignment in an antique shop... or rent a booth of your own in an established shop. All you need is a tax Id number.
