In some ways, yes. Men love to please women in bed, and it builds their confidence, trust, and makes them generally happy. You could say that the ego boost that they get is their motive, but it compares the same as a woman doing something for her husband. She does things for him because it makes her happy. It's the same as volunteering and helping those in need. It makes you feel good to donate toys to unfortunate children or work in a soup kitchen. Should these acts then, be considered selfish because of the gratification that manifests?
Everyone is selfish about some things, and ususally after building trust in a relationship, some of the barriers come down. You now trust that the other person has no ulterior motive, leaving you comfortable and able to share with your partner, whether it be secrets, their time, or the last piece of chocolate cake. If there is no trust, then there is no relationship- just insecurity and control, and these issues must be resolved before anyone can grow.

I think it's possible to an extent, but if you mean they don't care who the partner sleeps with or spends time with, I think that's not love anymore, that's some kind of dependence or something.
Whenever I hear absolutes like unconditional or unselfish, I take it to the extreme as a test. Unselfish means your wife could sleep with 3 men a day, give you no interaction at all (conversation, affection, etc...) and you'd still love her. At least that's how I see it.

I think that men are driven to provide a need, they base their partners happiness as a measurment of their success. If their partners not happy for long enough they give up and deam their self as failures. So in a sense a man's love is both selfish and unselfish. They want to please and if they feel like they aren't satisfying then they are not satisfied

Roamntic love is, to an extent selfish. The only totally unselfish love is the love we feel toward our children because that's instinctual love. Romantic love can be VERY strong but is only as strong as the bond that both people choose to create. With children it doesn't matter if they love you or not or make you feel important or not. The love for a child is unadultrated and without any conditions. It's indescribable.

Definitely not.
It is possible and logical to be unselfishly in love with your husband or wife if both couple is a GOD-fearing people.
Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be had in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

It sounds like your question is really "Are all men pigs?"
If so, I'd say you settled for the wrong "pig".
