It depends, can you hold a tune or does your singing remind people of the butcher of a cat by a rabid ferret?
If your good at singing then no it's not a crime, if you could like me when you sing then do as i have and vowed never to sing a note again!! that means never!!!
Btw does your ferret do tricks while you sing or does it just sit there with its fingers in it ears?

of course not. That is perfectly natural. The only thing that would be unnatural about it is if the ferret didn't sing harmony for you, or if you were to sing it off key.
