I thought she was highly entertaining. She's one of the few comedians out there who can make me laugh without using crude humor. That's not to say that I don't enjoy crude humor too, but Ellen just genuinely makes me laugh.

OMG! She was definitely great. She had my grandpa rolling and he hasnt laughed in forever. I just really appreciate Ellen. I love her show! But its really great to have someone like her that everyone knows hosting the Oscars! Go Ellen!

I thought she was all right, but her kind of humor is a little subtle for this show. I thought the best Oscar presenters were Billy Crystal and Jon Stewart. Billy is great in skits and can tell a joke. Jon Stewart is suave and funny. Steve Martin was excellent, too. I would give Ellen a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
She did look great.

She was incredible. And the stars didn't miss a beat either. I nearly fell over laughing when Clint Eastwood got upset that she didn't bring him a script. And then she had Spielberg taking her picture. LOL! Ellen can make anything funny. And she brought the focus back to the awards and those that participate in them. I loved her!!

I think she is fantastic. She is one of the few comedians that I can always count on to make me laugh. She is too much. And she is not crude or belittling. I think all the hosts should be that way!

I tape her talk shows so her monologue during the Oscars were pretty much the same as her daily shows.I was expectimg more.She did alright.Like everybody is saying,she is naturally funny with clean humor.No crudeness or insults.

She was flippin' funny. No crudity, going into the audience to have Stephen Spielberg take a picture of her with Clint Eastwood. She did a great job. Kudos to her

I did'nt get to see it on tv a bit late in GB, but I love Ellen and used to love her sit com, bet she did a good job last night.

I think she is a wonderful comedian. One of my favorites. However, I did not think she made a very good Oscar host. She wasn't very funny.
Too bad. I really like her.

I think she was just ok. I've always thought she is genuine but I hated all the political & liberal talk, they always use that event as a platform for political gab, don't like that!
