I think you should of asked what does religion, communism and terrorism have in common. Believe it or not, even communism (and nazism) came from religion!

Terrorism has been around since at least the French Revolution in 1789, long before Communism. It is not an ideology of government, but a tactic for venting political grievances by extreme and desperate individuals.

If the Soviet union have never invaded Afghanistan there would never have been 9/11...it surprises me how the right can ignore the fact the U.S supported many of the Islamic extremist we fight today.in their war against soviet occupation and at the same time how the left said little about the Soviet invasion to begin with which was every bit as brutal (perhaps more so ) of what we see
in iraq today !

during the beginning stages of commuism there must be totalitarianism. some would argue that is a from of terrorism.
